42CRMo4 and 42CRMo4+QT STEEL

42CRMo4 standard is designed for steel grade for toughening. Thermal-improvement figures on quenching and high tempering.

 

As a result of it, 42CRMo4 steel has got better resistance for stretching and better crack resistance. It also gets the growth of ductile properties. On the other hand, that is a steel which is not suitable for welding. It is used for producing high resistance and high tenacity elements. Improved-thermal steel is marked with a 42CRMo4+QT symbol.
